New Albany Floyd County Schools (NAFCS) is working with Schmidt Associates, Inc. to prepare a 10-year Master Plan for the district. The Master Plan will primarily focus on facility needs based on a conditional assessment and space utilization review of all buildings. The conditional assessment considers the conditions of all systems for each building; architectural, interiors, furniture, site, MEP, and technology. The space utilization study considers student population, number of staff, and square footage of each building, along with programs offered or building use, to determine short and long-term needs for each building in order to meet the needs of the community, district, and staff, while delivering the best learning opportunities for all students. The purpose of this survey is to gather additional information from citizens within the NAFCS district to help toward the master planning effort.
